What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is an innovative business model which enables patients to more easily access and interact with their primary care physician. By eliminating unnecessary “middle man” constraints and confusion, the patient-physician relationship is strengthened, thus helping to achieve lower costs, better outcomes, and enhanced patient satisfaction.
A simple, affordable membership fee takes the place of complicated, burdensome, costly fee-for-service co-payments, deductibles, co-insurance, EOB’s (explanation of benefits), and denials of care.
By establishing a direct relationship between patients and their doctor, time-consuming and expensive administrative tasks are taken away, being replaced with lower costs and more time to concentrate on the primary concern, your health, and well-being.
If I have Direct Primary Care, do I need insurance?
No, we do not require our members to have health insurance.
Mid Cities Direct Primary Care does not bill health insurance or third-party payers, as our annual fee covers routine wellness care, illnesses, and management of chronic medical conditions. However, it is recommended that members have insurance coverage to protect against financial loss or ruin due to unexpected accidents or serious medical illnesses.
How do I know if Mid Cities Direct Primary Care is right for me?
